A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Questions, answered.

What happens when I switch conversations?

With automatic switching on, AI Desktop Manager brings your project’s windows into view on the displays you chose. Conversations in the same project share the same workspace.

Does it read my conversations?

It uses local project and navigation metadata from Codex and Claude to find the associated workspace. Claude support covers local Code projects in the Claude Mac app. Conversation content is not used or sent.

Do I have to set everything up again?

Your project window arrangements and display choices are saved. Automatic switching starts when your configuration is ready. You can pause and resume it in the app.

Can I use it with just my MacBook?

You need at least two displays. Keep your assistants on one display and place your project windows on one or more additional displays.
